Timpa

Dedicated Content and Data Terminals

The Timpa is Psitek’s very first dedicated content and data terminal. In other words, it’s been designed purely for the on-selling of point of sale services like those offered by Kazang. The interface is similar to other Kazang terminals (such as the Adondo) but this little guy offers a lot more in terms of functionality and features. Neat and compact, the Timpa has a built-in printer (which uses the same sized paper rolls as the Adondo, Jembi and RICA printers), a built-in rechargeable battery and a large LCD that makes vending Kazang services simple, fast and convenient. Like other Kazang terminals, the Timpa works using GPRS technology, which is a fancy way of saying that it is wireless and uses a SIM card. It also means that it connects to the Content Ready server, making deployment and maintenance a breeze. This latest addition to the range of Kazang terminals has undergone thorough field testing in both Kenya and Zambia, and has passed with flying colours!

Features:

  • Designed for speed: Intuitive menus, swift connection to the Content Ready server and a built-in printer make selling Kazang services quick and easy.
  • Robust and reliable: The Timpa is easy to clean and the durable design assures you of a quality device that will stand the test of time.
  • Simple set up: The Timpa has a built-in printer, so set-up up is easy. Simply insert your SIM card and a paper roll, plug the unit into a power supply and you’re all set to go.
